Camera tops list of must-have holiday items - 04th Sep 2008
A new survey has revealed the items that British people would hate to forget when going on holiday.
The poll, carried out by Holiday Extras - which provides a checklist service to assist with planning holidays - found that 40.1 per cent would be upset if they forgot to take their camera away with them, while 29.8 per cent would feel lost without their mobile phone.
In addition, 17 per cent said it would be a disaster if they forgot their swimsuit and 13 per cent said they felt their sunglasses to be essential.
Mike Whiting, managing editor for Holiday Extras, said: "Replacing your camera or phone abroad is not so easy. Our cameras are important to record our treasured holiday moments."
