New route could increase holidays to Rhodes - 03rd Oct 2008
People in the north-west may be able to benefit from more cheap holidays in Rhodes after new services were announced from Manchester Airport.
According to Travelmole, the new weekly flights will be opened as of May 20th 2009, perhaps allowing people to benefit from an increase in cheap package deals.
Philip Meeson, chief executive of Jet2.com, the airline introducing the flights, said: "This new service reinforces our commitment to offering our customers even more choice when it comes to their holiday destination."
Rhodes is the largest Greek island and is situated around 18 kilometres south-west of Turkey in the Aegean Sea.
Its winters are almost always mild with long periods of sunshine, perhaps making it ideal for Brits at this time of year.
