People in Britain would rather make cutbacks elsewhere than not go on holiday, a new survey has revealed. A quarter of the 1,500 Brits polled said they are compromising on nights out in order to save cash, while another 44 per cent said they would put up with things like less legroom on their flights if it meant saving money. This is perhaps due to the fact that 35 per cent said their annual getaway motivates them in their everyday lives. John Bevan, managing director of lastminute.com, which commissioned the research, said the findings show just how important holidays are to people in the UK. "At the heart of it, booking holidays is still the main way Britons brighten up their lives and give themselves something to look forward to," he commented to TravelMole. Anyone looking for a reasonably-priced family holiday may wish to consider cheap holidays in Rhodes and in particular Faliraki. Rhodesguide.com recommends it as a big fun-fair where a multitude of activities can be carried out, including swimming at the water park.
