People on cheap holidays in Cyprus may wish to pay a visit to Coral Bay, one travel writer has suggested. Anne Jepson, writing for the Telegraph, said that the bay, which is situated about 14 miles from Paphos and is close to a number of hotels, is a large cove flanked by picturesque limestone cliffs. "It is the classic holiday sandy beach, with safe swimming and Blue Flag status," she recommends. Ms Jepson adds that the beach offers plenty of water sports and family activities, including inflatables, diving and water skiing. For those in need of refreshments, there are also plenty of bars and cafes on the beach and close by. Paphos may be ideal for family holidays in Cyprus, thanks to its sunny climate and array of tourist facilities, Discover Paphos suggests. It may also be good for romantic breaks, since it is credited with being the birthplace of Aphrodite, Greek goddess of love.
